José Alberto Bucheb

José Alberto Bucheb has extensive experience in the oil and natural gas industry, particularly in regulatory and contractual matters and strategic partnerships. He worked at Petrobras for more than three decades, holding leadership positions that included Pre-Salt Partnerships Manager and General Manager of Petrobras University.

He holds degrees in Geology (USP), Law (UERJ), and Business Administration (UFRRJ), Master’s degrees in Geophysics (UFPA) and International Law (UERJ), and a Doctorate in Science from UERJ. He currently serves on the faculty of the Brazilian Petroleum and Gas Institute (UnIBP) and is a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN) and the Brazilian Association of Petroleum Geologists (ABGP).
